29-year-old Lancaster man died in a single-vehicle wreck early Saturday morning, authorities said.

Jason Shawn Payne of 681 Adams Lane was driving a red 1990 Chevy pickup truck south along S.C. 522 about 9 miles east of Lancaster when the truck ran off the right side of the road, traveled down an embankment and flipped, said Lance Cpl. Josef Robinson of the S.C. Highway Patrol.
